HTC device not recognized

Recommended Posts

Hello,

After we received the HTC Vive Focus 3, we tried plugging it to a PC, and the device is written as "not specified" (not recognized), is there any solution to that problem ? I can't find a way to transfer files to the device as a consequence, so if you have a solution for the file transfer or the recognition, please let me know.

Thanks.

Manufacturer :    ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC.
Product PRIME B250-PRO
Version : Rev X.0x

And we tried both usb-c to usb-c and usb-c to usb-a, both same result, but the headset recognize that it's been plugged somewhere, but both the headset and the pc can't identify each other.

Just to make sure you aren't using the inbox Y cable right?

I am experiencing a similar issue. The device is not recognized when plugged in.

Do you transfer files via adb?

how do you enable developer mode?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

ADB is default ok to use now. please use the usb port on the side.
Can you screenshot the device manager and show me the error one for Focus 3, and share your motherboard model with me?
Let me see where went wrong.

Thanks
