Wireless Adapter getting Hot and Vive Pro Shuts Down with Black Screen

Hello,

we are using the HTC VIVE wireless for quite some time now. Over the last couple of months we got black screens on the HMD from time to time. I changed the USB cables to shorter ones with USB3.0. That helped a bit.

We had an event last days where we used three wireless setups. All of them (3x) resulted in black screens from time to time. Only if we paused for about 10 min, we could start working again.

To force a longer runtime I also lowered the resolution of the video feed to the HMD.

I have seen solutions with fans connected to the receiver, but that cannot be the solution to a product in that price category.

Is there anything we can do to get rid of getting black screens and having a robust setup?

Would be happy if anyone has a solution to that.
