Can you describe the difference? I tried contacting HTC support, but they couldn't say which cable design I would receive if I ordered it from their site... which I found strange. They all received the new version with the new cable, blue handstraps and less squeaky, stiffer trigger switch. I received the original thick cable version. After about 1000 mails/chats i didn't receive any conclusive feedback. Rockjaw from this forum was the only one providing me with some descent feedback.
