Problem with SteamVR 1.11

Hi,

Steam recently updated SteamVR to version 1.11.

Since then, none of my applications using SRWorks seem to work anymore. The sample builds will say (Failed to initialize (or something like that)). If I would start my scene using SRWorks, the UnrealEngine would just crash.

I have tried also tried using another headset and a different machine. Same problems.

I was also not able to revert SteamVR back to an older version (found some tutorials but did not work).

Is there anything known from the developer side? Some quick fixes available to continue working?

I did some digging and found these in the logs:

I am getting this same issue as well with ViveSR SDK 0.9.0.3. I have SteamVR 1.11.11 and was not able to get the ViveSR pre-built sample Unity apps to initialize see-through camera inside the app (The sample apps are called Vive_SRWorks and Vive_SRWorks_Demo specifically). My PC has met all the hardware/software requirements and I am operating with a Vive Pro headset. SRWorks runtime is installed a Program Files folder with full administrative permissions.

Hi @Jad thanks for your reply.

And it's great to hear that you're working on a fix, hopefully it won't take long.

As for the SteamVR beta, I can't seem to select any specific version. It just updates SteamVR to beta version 1.12.1

Do you have any beta access codes or other ways to get a beta version older than 1.11.1?

@Jad Any update on when we might expect the SRWorks update to be available? I just purchased a Vive Cosmos specifically for SRWorks development, and am rather disappointed to not be able to use it given this SteamVR blocker.

Impeding my progress with SRWorks dev work as well, would be happy if we got the solution soon.

@Arto  @deron3 @chlorescent02 @Jbraam This issue has been addressed in the latest SRWorks v0.9.3.0 release here: https://developer.vive.com/resources/knowledgebase/vive-srworks-sdk/ Please download and try it out. Thanks!
