Error 301-Solutions

Error 301, “A key component isn’t working”, is usually an issue related to USB.

  • Unplug all non-essential USB devices from your PC and restart it. Reconnect your Vive to the PC and see if it is working.
  •  If not, unplug the keyboard and mouse. Some users reported that their keyboard is the one that causing the problem.
  • Also try plugging your Vive into other USB ports.
  • If you are still having no luck, reinstall the SteamVR or try installing it in an installation path different from the default one.
