libra34567 Posted October 7, 2017 Share Posted October 7, 2017 Let's say I have an area for 2~3 person in the same lighthouse setup, each wearing htc vive helmet, 5 trackers(1 on the back, 2 on feet, 2 on the wrist), and if I place my lighthouse sensor lets say 2m from the floor. In this case, will people block each other from lighthouse sensor? For example, when person A is standing very close to person B while facing him, Will person A get blocked? HackPerception Posted October 9, 2017 Share Posted October 9, 2017 , As you've realized occlusion and safety become the main issues when using multiple HMDs in a smaller tracked volume. Currently the best thing to do is to mount high, use a sync cable, and point more vertically downward to prevent people from occluding each other. This is a very helpful lighthouse FOV visualizer that is super helpful for ensuring your laser sweeps are being best utilized (it shows up as an environment/wallpaper).
