  1. Hello! Our company wants to release the game for the viveport arcade. So far we found that we need to opt-in to the program. BUT Ive seen there is a Viveport arcade SDK but all the links to it are broken and the submission guide doesnt tell anything about the arcade SDK https://developer.vive.com/resources/viveport/store-guide/store-submission-guide/english/. We are working on an Unity App which needs an Host-PC and the other PCs with Vives are the clients - so perfect for arcade halls. So the question would be, how to we publish to Viveport arcade? Do we need the SDK? And from the guidelines it tells us to upload a binary file, how do we do that with the Unity Build? Thank You!

Hey, my game Phasmophobia is releasing on the 18th and has just passed the review process for release however the build that I uploaded is now 2 weeks old due to the review time and contains several bugs that have already been fixed. I would like to know how I can upload a new build before release on the 18th? If it's not possible, how long would it take to upload an update build after release? It is a multiplayer game and I am also releasing on Steam so I have had to limit the current Viveport build so that Steam players cannot play with them until they are on the latest build. I have already replied to the email I got sent for completing the review process as well as emailing support but I'm really time constrained here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hello i recently had to reinstall my viveport, but when its just about to reach the end it stops. but when a update comes out it fixes it and am able to use the headset could someone help me figure it out what files im missing that the updates are able to fix so i dont have to wait for the next one? vivesport is installed but not the vive console.

  5. In order to build for the Focus Plus you will need to integrate your apps with the Wave SDK. For more information about Focus and Wave development check out our Vive Developer Resources Site. You can find both the Wave SDK and Documentation linked from this Resource page. If you’re a Unity Developer, then Getting Started with Unity and Wave SDK will be very helpful. If you’re looking for community help, be sure to visit the Wave SDK Forum to find answers to your questions or to ask new ones you may have. You can find best practices for HMD and controller tracking - Room Setup and Controller Tracking Tips. Read the Vive Focus Plus User Guide to get acquainted with it. Make sure to update your HMD to the latest ROM (currently version 3.07.623.x). You can update the device by tapping on the controller’s Vive button and then > Settings > System Update (Note: You must be connected via Wi-Fi in order to receive system updates). Once you’re ready to publish your app on Viveport, visit the Viveport Developer Console. If you need inspiration, feel free to find some fun right away and get to know some of the Wave experiences.   6. What's the main difference between Kiosk mode on the Vive Focus Plus and Vive enterprise private content management from Vive STARTER. I'm having some people use a Vive Focus Plus and I only want them to run one program. I know I can use Kiosk mode but can I do that with STARTER? Thanks in advance. @Tony PH Lin @Cotta @JustinVive
  7. Hi, I'm currently trying to submit our first VR app release for the Pico G2 4K headset. The application is built in Unity and currently only uses the Pico SDK (So neither the Cardboard, Daydream, OpenVR, Vive or Wave SDK). The application runs fine, when side-loaded from Unity to the HMD. That's how we currently supply it to customer-businnesses of us. In order to make it publically findable, and to update it regurarly, I want to make it available for Viveport. I'm running into a couple of problems here... I'm unsure whether to select "Vive/OpenVR" or "Mobile VR" content. Later on in the submission process, I'm also required to list the supported headsets, but Pico 2G 4K is not an option. Also, Is it required to use one of the SDK's mentioned above to do submit our app in Viveport? Once uploaded and available, will it be possible for the installed application (built directly from the Unity) to replace (i.e. update) the existing application, as long as the bundle ID's match? Could someone guide me through this process? Thank you very much in advance!

Seems everytime i start my Vive cosmos, i have to fight with the following cycle: vive console loads steam vr loads steam vr crashes steam vr restarts in safe mode steam vr works but now vive console does not restart both and same issue just repeats. after several attempts, reinstalls of steam vr, file validations, or just trying repeatedly it just magicially decides to work. I've noticed it prefers to launch in steam VR home to be stable. Which I actually prefer to the viveport. so questions. Is there a way to fix this? I've tried beta, stable release, reinstalls, same issues. is there a way with the cosmos to set it to just use steam vr home instead of the viveport? Viveport seems to have an issue finding all my games anyways, so i prefer Steam VR home. @stvnxu
  10. Heya folks. I just purchased the discounted yearly subscription of Viveport Infinity. And with my free year plan I could add an additional discount of 10%. So I payed 64,69 € for a complete year and I'm good to go until Oct.17th 2021 now 🙂

    Cloud save

    Hi, unlike Steam, cloud save function seems to be completely unavailable on Viveport. So when I play a game on my first computer, I'm unable to continue on my second computer. For example Twilight Path. Cloud Save is a must to keep progress synchronized. Thanks.
  12. Hi everyone, The last week i bought a HTC Vive Focus plus with the Vive Entreprise Advantage for Focus Plus. To test it, i download on unity the WaveVr SDK with Samples scenes, but i can not build or export this example on my HTC Vive Focus Plus.   13. Gtx980ti...i7 7700k 4.2GHz 16 gig..win 10..vive(not pro) Played about 15 games..the only game wont work is beat saber !! My fav. Game of all. From the very second i launch it, its pixelated. The very second. Any fix ?? Was playing arizona sunshine with zero problems. .. battery life is very good. Still 2 out of 4 green charge lights. About 2.5 solid hours of play. Its excellent with no wires. Need a bigger room ! Whats the limites ? 6x6 meters ? Ta. M.
  14. After 5 hours today trouble shooting. Told my gtx980ti will not work with vive wireless. I finally got it working. The fault was the short 3 in 1 cable. Just used longer cable and wrapped it up tightly on vive. Finally got 20 miutes of play after charging for 3 hours with original vive plugs. So we have to buy a quick charger ? I was told i cant buy a new cable. So will see what eu support say, whenever they get back to me. All in all a day wasted. Im charging now on usb v3 (blue). See how that goes. Anyone got a solution ? Ta. M.
  15. For some reason, SteamVR home will go unresponsive seemingly randomly, for about a second, and then returns to normal. In the headset, it just drops out to the loading environment for about a second. Sometimes its infrequent, like once every 2 minutes or so, and other times it will drop in and out multiple times in succession. This only happens in SteamVR Home, when I load into a game like fallout 4 VR or GORN, everything works as normal, so I don't think it's a hardware issue, but I could be wrong. This only started happening recently. I've checked my cables, tried reinstalling SteamVR and Vive software and updated my drivers but that's it so far. Does anyone know what could be causing this? specs Ryzen 7 2700x 4.3Ghz GTX 1080ti 16Gb DDR4
  16. I want to purchase an extra Link Box. The store says no power adapter is included (part number is TC NE18W-US). Is there a 3rd party one available? Also are the cables that go from the LinkBox to the PC included with the Linkbox Accessory? Thanks!

  18. Would love to see a new viveport update that expands value for users. Perhaps, some new environments with dynamic elements. In fact, could Viveport use a third party to create a new collection of highly realised home environments that really push the level of presence and interactivity - It is now time to update and rapidly move to push new iterations of the Viveport app
