  1. Hello, After having bought my Vive Cosmos and set it up, it worked fine for a day or two then died out entirely. I've been going back and forth for some time now with Customer service from the place I've bought it and HTC but everytime it came back labelled as "working but it'sbeen now 6 months since i've bought it and it is still not working. I'm not going to say I'm not pissed because I am. I've tried to work this out on my own and here's what I've come up with : I've first reinstalled every piece of software related to Vive, Steam and Steam VR. I thought that maybe I just n
  2. I have been having issues with a black screen i checked the connection utility log and found the same data spikes before each crash. i thought it could have been due to overheating - it reaches 68 and above one thing which i am unsure about is peerSignalQuality which always reaches 255 before crashing, no matter what the temperature is what is this peerSignalQuality and can it cause blackouts? here is an exert from the latest crash:
  3. There was a recent update for the Vive on SteamVR and the Vive wireless software that is most likely causing my issue. This issue, is that when I connect to SteamVR my headset will suddenly turn off and will continue to do so every time I move it. Restarting everything doesn't help and I've already tried reinstalling all the programs that my Vive uses to no avail. For SteamVR it says I need to move my headset while Vive wireless tells me that the headset has been disconnected. I just want to play some beat saber 😞 (PS I think the link box should still be showing up in the USB device list on
  4. Hi all - I'm trying to integrate two Vive trackers into my Unreal project, but I'm not able to get the trackers to consistently register in SteamVR. When I hover over the tracker in the SteamVR window, it shows it "Searching" most of the time rather than actively tracking. When I open my project, the mesh I have matched with the tracker only appears every so often when it's actively tracking Does anyone have advice about how to get a consistent track? I have the Tracker Dongles plugged in to my PC and resting over a foot away from it. Thanks!
  5. Just wondering, but why can't you excatally put the vive graphics cards and processor in the actual headset itself. Why can't you just store the program on the computer and put the graphics card and processor in the headset itself.
