  1. Hey everyone, simply copy the steamvr folder (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR) from a PC where you did install it online to anywhere on your second offline *secure" PC (via a usb drive) and the run SteamVR\bin\win64\vrmonitor.exe to get started. Same as you would with the app you are running.
  2. Did you try https://www.vrheads.com/how-fix-error-208-driver-uninstall-issue-htc-vive ?
  3. Just to clarify, you can run without the Steam client but SteamVR is still required. But if the issue is really about not requiring a login or internet access for locked down installations, you can try copying over the SteamVR folder and running SteamVR\bin\win32\vrmonitor.exe
  4. With the latest SteamVR update, there may be an issue where your controllers no longer can call up the Steam dashboard with the system menu button. We are investigating the issue.
  5. Ok so what exactly doesn't work for you after you Audio.Clip.Create(.... and AudioClip.SetData(float [] buffer, offset) ? Did you try uncompressed audio data? https://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/AudioClip.SetData.html -Dario
  6. You can also just copy the SteamVR folder alone to have an offline install. I've installed from a usb "thumb"drive this way without having to be online. Also in SteamVR settings you can uncheck "check for steam". Many applications can be launched without having to log into Steam unless they require a DRM check. So it's really more on the content in question, So I would ask Autocad in this case about offline installs. -Dario
  7. Can we implement our own data into Vive Tracker's data stream? Actually to a certain extent yes, using USB HID feature reports please see the documentation: https://dl.vive.com/Tracker/Guideline/HTC_Vive_Tracker_Developer_Guidelines_v1.4.pdf Also, for those asking about using the trackers and/or controllers without a headset, yes it can be done, set requireHMD to false in steamvr vrsettings. AND there was also a dual colored "Vive Tracker" model (fbx) already on Sketchfab predating the one mentioned above ;-)
