  1. Unfortunately no. Took it apart and reconnected everything and still doesn't track. I just don't play my Vive anymore because I refuse to spend $120 on new controllers.
  2. Damn, I took the controller apart and the 2 ribbon cables were snug, I unplugged them and plugged them back in and still no tracking. Buttons work and it connects, just no tracking. Not sure what else to do short of buying a used one and seeing if it worksThe 2 ribbon cables i reconnected are the ones at the top to the far right next to each otherhttps://guide-images.cdn.ifixit.com/igi/qEFqwKVrCSACpHDP.huge
  3. If I turn the controller that does not work on FIRST before I turn the controller that works on and it still does not track while being the ONLY controller on and connected, to me that eliminates the problem of any USB power issues or anything else relating to drivers, right?
  4. I haven't played in like 1-2 years and the last time I played everything worked fine. I get on now to play some Beat Saber and only 1 controller is tracking in Steam VR. It is the same controller every time that does not track. I have changed USB ports from 2.0 to 3.0. I've unplugged everything I could (I have never had a problem with power to my USBs before). All devices say that they are up to date on firmware, which I find odd that new firmware has not come out in 2 years??? I uninstalled Viveport and drivers and uninstalled Steam VR. I then ONLY installed Steam VR and still the same controller did not track. Updated graphics drivers to latest driver. Unplugged USBs and base stations, plugged everything back in several times and restarted computer several times, no go. Disabled camera on the headset, no go. Any other ideas? I feel like a new controller at $130 is a bit much and I'll just buy a Quest 2 at $300 if I cant get this thing working and just sell my HTC Vive.
