  1. I ALWAYS turn off my XR Elite controllers when I'm shutting down except for when I forget and quite a bit of battery life gets pointlessly lost. Today I tried out a different VR headset for a different purpose and when I turned off the headset, I noticed that it apparently sent a turn off command to my controllers as well and now that I've seen it done, that seems like such an obvious solution. Please, could we get that for the XR Elite?
  2. My use case is that I have a Varjo Aero and one base station on the way, I don't currently plan to buy any base station controllers because I mainly intend to use the Aero for simming and keyboard and mouse. What I want to do is sometimes use 6dof controllers with the Aero and I would like to just turn on my XR Elite and put it off to somewhere with good visibility of the controllers and just use it for tracking that way and use them with the Aero, possibly using a playspace combiner, is this possible?
  3. "No more intrusive alerts for battery/volume warnings. having to press ok to those alerts always causes grief for me" Seconded I can live with a 5% warning, that's understandable cause at that point you only have a few minutes anyway so it's either a warning or the device just shots off, but the 15% warning, I don't need or want it, 5% gives you more than enough time to attach a usb-c battery.
  4. The relocation feature sounds great, will be using that when I want to move from my main room to my bedroom.
  5. I like the XR Elite but HTC needs to educate new users much better on how to optimally wear the headset cause it took me a couple weeks to consistently place it on my head comfortably. I really think that a bigscreen beyond style facial interface, printed from face scan data, would complete the headset.
  6. Virtual Desktop emulates the Quest 2 controllers, which is why it will work with certain things that other programs might not.
  7. Or at least make it so that we don't have to click ok, like it's just a warning that comes and goes without interfering with the controls. Yesterday during a multiplayer game I was running and then I ran off a cliff because the 15% warning popup made me run off the edge. Keep the 5% warning, that's understandable that people should have to be aware, but please give us an option to disable the 15% warning.
  8. Wasn't sure where to ask but I bought an XR Elite and am going to sell my Focus 3 to my business partner, is the warranty transferrable?
  9. I posted here I expect a future version of Vive Streaming will have pass through, I just wish I knew how long. I'm probably going to keep my xr elite though I do think HTC should communicate better
  10. I asked the same question a few days ago, so far I've gotten the silent treatment. 😕 One of the reasons I bought the XR Elite is because I might want to make XR content for Deo VR.
  11. Hello, I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but I attempted to use the passthrough feature with DEOVR inside of SteamVR, as detailed here "1) One time only: Please ensure that your camera is enabled: SteamVR-> settings-> camera = on and Room view Camera Mode is set to Translucent Passthrough" https://deovr.com/blog/54-passthrough-the-next-frontier-of-the-virtual-reality-experience But there is no camera tab in SteamVR settings so I couldn't get passthrough to work at all! One of the reasons I bought an XR Elite was because I want to explore making XR content for DeoVR for my business but I appear to have completely hit a wall. Is there any way to make the color passthrough work with SteamVR??
  12. I just tested it with a stopwatch app, just to be really certain, and from the moment I turned on the xr elite and saw the white light go on in the front til I ran it down to 3%, it took exactly 92 minutes and 30 seconds. Do I need to make a warranty claim or is this normal? If it's normal then, I'm fine with using one of my external batteries, I just need to know what to expect.
  13. How many hours do you get out of the Anker 737?
