  1. Thanks, ordered a 5 meter streaming cable and now it works fine
  2. Hi, it looks like this one, I normally use that one to superfast-charge my Samsung Galaxy S21. Do I need a specific one?
  3. I am not getting that. I received my new computer with lots of USB 3 and USB C ports including the StarTech PCle card but when I try to connect it via the 2 USB C ports I m getting the error message in VIVE Business Streaming: '501 Error: USB-connection too slow. Use USB 3.0 or higher.' I also tried to connect with with via USB 3.2 and USB C port and I m getting the same error. What am I doing wrong?
  4. Never mind, posted the wrong one above, the company however got it correct I guess, they say that they have added „StarTech PCIe x4, 1x USB-C 3.1, 1x USB-A 3.1 (ASM3142)“ to the built.
  5. OK great, something like this fine? ORICO USB PCIE Card Type C PCI-Express 4X to USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 ASM3242 Chipset for Windows 8/10/Linux Compatible Slot: PCIe x4 PCIe x8 PCIe x16: Amazon.de: Computer & Accessories
  6. You are right, VRwanter, I should have asked previously, now my built goes into production the next week. I possibly could instruct the company on Monday to add a PCI USB card to this built but I would require the precise name of it as I have no clue myself. Without that PCI USB card I assume that I cannot use the AMD Streaming software for streaming, correct? How are you doing your streaming, Vrwanter? Is SteamVR performing well here too? I also please the C.T admin to let us have the precise name of the card soonest possible. Thanks in advance.
  7. 8. Thank you, vrwanter. I thought since I had bought a VIVE Focus 3, which I considered to be a standalone VR set, the only thing I needed to stream thereto was a reliable bluetooth, Internet or cable connection, but obviously that is not so, correct?
  9. Hi there, Thanks for your guidance. Under Display adaptors I can find: Intel(R) HD Graphics 630 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M The game just works fine in 2D on the said PC, fluent, (even with this maybe older graphic card), but the streaming to the VIVE Focus 3 shows has lots of missing frames and very poor quality on the headset picture. Any idea how I could improve here?
  10. Hi there VRwanter Thank you for replying. I am ashamed as I have no clue how I can provide you with these information. It's an older all-in-one PC but I guess the problem is the connection for the streaming. In VIVE Business Streaming there are 3 different connection values (good, average and poor). I don't know whether this could be raised by either having a better bluetooth or wireless LAN? (Which one applies to this?) During streaming in Vive Business Streaming I m getting an '601 Error: Missing Frames'. My headset actually tries to receive the frames but lots are missing i.e. poor picture with 3D VR. I tried connecting via USB. My PC seems to have a USB 3.2 port and so does the Vive Focus 3. When I connect it, it again shows an error instructing me to connect via 3.0 cable and/or port or higher, my current USB connection is obviously not sufficient. I was thinking that 3.2 should be ok, could it however be that my USD 3.2 cable is not strong for the transmission and I need to buy a better one? Are there different ones? Sorry, I m really not much into PC things but this headset really got my attention.
  11. Hi, it's me again, apologies. While streaming in Vive Business Streaming by headset shows up as poor quality. No matter what I do, it does not change. What is the easiest way or ways to improve the streaming quality? Does a direct USB 3.0 connection to the PC help?
  12. Oh I just took a try, getting an Error message: Installation failed: Important: SteamVR configuration not found. SteamVR is required for VIVE Business Streaming. Install SteamVR and run once to complete SteamVR installation, then reinstall VIVE Business Streaming. Err: 102 I indeed tried to previously install SteamVR but upon launching the app, I m getting a message to 'plug in my headset', which caused me to post my initial question. Is there any solution?
  13. Thank you much both, I will check this later this day and revert Glad to hear there could be a solution Das werden wir schon irgendwie hinkriegen... 🙂
  14. Hi all, I bought the VIVE Focus 3 to play some fine VR Steam 3D games but I cant seem to get it done properly. I noticed that the package did not include any cables to connect to my PC. The headset has 2 x USB 3.2., my computer has USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, now I tried to use my own cable USB 3.2 one end and USB 3.0 other end but it doesnt seem to work. When I launch VRSteam I just get a message telling me to plug in my headset which I have actually done. I m complety lost, tried to contact VIVE Support today, the lady there told me that the connection only works with 2 x USB 3.2 both sides so there is no way for me to actually be able to use my headset for streaming games.... Is that really so? Thank you for your opinions.
