  2. @C.T. It is not possible to exit the Beta it the VBS application. It crashes too fast. I do understand that I can uninstall the application and re-download the official application, but given that it is only happening on one of the three computers we have VBS installed I thought I would raise this topic.
  3. We have a custom built workstation PC with an ASUS TUF AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT /Primary/Discrete graphic card.Vive Business Streaming 1.04.0 - Beta crashes soon after launch. All other previous VBS application versions, including Beta versions, worked until this latest release.
  4. @C.T. Laptop volume control effects the Focus 3 when using the VBS application. I don't want this. It is annoying. Thanks for the update that the microphone mirroring issue will soon be resolved. Hopefully this month.
  5. I am now experiencing audio mirroring always being on when using the VBS application via Wi-Fi or USB since the last firmware update to the headset. I can replicate this on multiple computers. SteamVR settings for audio mirroring are disabled. If on a laptop with built in speakers, muting on the laptop also mutes the headset audio. Muting on a desktop computer when the sound comes form the monitor, I can mute the monitor via its remote control and still hear inside the headset. Suggestions on how to correct this is appreciated. One other thing. When will the microphone passthru when using the VBS application be corrected? It is annoying to have to connect another high quality microphone to a computer as a band-aid solution.
  6. The spare focus 3 battery arrived last night. I love HTC Japan for their promptness in getting me the battery so quickly.
  7. I ordered the spare Focus 3 battery today from HTC Japan. Should arrive sometime next week.
  8. Update. I ran tests today and it turns out that the GravityZone Network module must be disabled completely for the Focus 3 to be able to connect to the VBS server application and run Steam VR. My tests involved disabling, one by one, all the sub settings in the GravityZone Network module; but none of that helped. Not until I completely disabled the entire module did things work and i could play Steam VR via Wi-Fi. I am going to raise a support ticket with Bitdefender Enterprise support team and get them involved.

  11. Does anyone know when we can purchase a spare battery for the HMD? The only place I ever saw it listed was a HTC website in Australia. https://www.vive.com/au/accessory/vive-focus3-battery/ Nothing on the HTC Japan, USA or EU site for the battery. Living in Tokyo I would definitely like to get a spare battery.
  12. Thank you for getting back to me. The ZIP file of that folder is over 100 MBytes in size; thus I cannot upload it here. The two biggest files are in the LOG folder. "RRServer.exe.2604.dmp" and "RRServer.exe.8664.dmp". These files are huge; over 200 MBytes each. Suggestions on how I can get you exactly what you need are appreciated.
  13. The issue is happening on a new ASUS ROG Zephyrus GA401IV gaming laptop. It crashes a second or two after launch.   14. We got this Trusco XL size case for our HP Reverb G2. https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B00762HQES/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . I can tell you that it will hold the Focus 3 just fine for I tested it and it fit without issue.
  15. For those following this thread. I added those ports allowing them to be passed without inspection to the GravityZone Firewall module. I still get error Wi-Fi streaming 912 on the one PC I tested. it is weird because I can see the IP address and name of the VBS server clearly. I also tested a Static IP on the PC but if you do that the VBS application gets a loop back IP of . VBS Server application seems to only run with a PC set to DHCP. I will try uninstalling GravityZone from one of the computers and then test to see if I can connect to the VBS server via Wi-Fi over the weekend.
  16. Hi. It is not possible to disable Bitdefender GravityZone endpoint protection on protected device from the web console. The software would have to be deleted from the computer. Given that I setup exceptions in the endpoints policy to allow "RRConsole.exe" and "RRServer.exe" access to the network and function it may be possible that some TCP/IP or UDP ports may be being blocked but I am not seeing that in the GravityZone web console Dashboard. What TCP/IP and or UDP ports or port ranges does the VBS server application use to communicate with the Focus 3 via W-Fi?

Still cannot stream via Wi-Fi.
  20. The VBS Client application as listed here: https://business.vive.com/appstore/detail/c6f242c8-4408-42b6-bef2-5dfc6c884f18 shows it to be version . In our Focus 3, which was delivered on July 7th, I cannot find the version of the application that is installed in either the "Library" or in Storage". How can I determine application versions in the HMD ?
  21. I am unable to use Vive Business Streaming via the 5GHz Wi-Fi connection. I receive error code #912. USB tethering with an Oculus Link cable works fine. I have tested this on two different computers and on two different 5GHz Wi-Fi networks.As a business we do not use the default Microsoft Firewall application but instead use GravityZone Ultra endpoint protection. I setup exceptions int the endpoint policy to allow "RRConsole.exe" and "RRServer.exe" access to the network and function. Our router router is a Netgear RAX120 router and there is also a Netgear EAX20-100JPS Wi-Fi Access Point. Is anyone else having issues with the VBS server software like I am having? My friend in France, the CEO of ProTubeVR, is has the opposite issue using the VBS server application. Wi-Fi streaming works but USB with an Oculus Link cable does not work for him.
