  3. I mentioned this earlier in the post. but I can repeat it ^^ NEVER LOOK AT THE % STEAMVR WITH THE VP2, as it is unreliable and can even vary from one start to the next. The VP2 definition is 2448x2448 per eye. So it's best to set steamVR to 2448x2448, regardless of the percentage displayed! Then set a different supersampling for each game. 4896x4896 per eye isn't double, but it's x4!!! obviously it'll never run smoothly at that definition with a game. In 99% of cases, the problems with the VP2 and the 4090, since HTC corrected the problems with the VIVE console, come from this misunderstanding of the definition applied by steamVR. or a third-party application But there is no more issue with vive console 4090 and VP2 at 120hz, ultra, etc
  4. there is no more drivers issue with 4090, 120hz and VP2. try to find something else. software, etc. at first, 5100x5100 is probably too much to have 120fps in palvov ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ For testing, try native, 2448x2448 at 120hz, if it works well, you will have your answer ๐Ÿคž

  6. sorry, I didn't see the message before, I didn't test it but I think the new version has fixed the problem. it would be a very good idea to always have a code to choose the version we want of the vive console (stand alone for me)

  9. there is a problem with the choice of the resolution. I thought it was just a problem of displaying the number, but no, I did a benchmark, I have twice the FPS in 2448x1224 that I had in 2448x2448 with the other versions of vive console. I tested in 4896x2448, I have 4 times less FPS... it's a big problem, basically you can't choose a correct equivalent horizontal and vertical definition anymore. for example 2448x1224 instead of 2448x2448 on steamVR or do you have a download link to download the 2.0.24.2 beta version please?

  11. wrong many software can create these problems. as many have already explained but it's up to you, find the solution or sell your HTC ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ on that note, I go back to play ๐Ÿ™ƒ

  13. me too, i had this bug before, no more with 3080ti, and it came back with last vive console beta and 4090. Same when i whant to switch Hz 90<>120. sometime it's freeze forever, i have to switch OFF the power of the headset, et switch ON, steamvr ask Quit or Restart and i restart and it's ok. not a big deal, but not practical indeed...

  15. Sorry for my bad enblish.... nothing unsinstalled. I juste made a mistake, i did not install the last beta.... my bad. So everything is perfect in 120hz with lasts vc standalone beta, steamvr beta et nvidia driver I d love to have the possibility to switch frequencies 90<>120 on the fly quickly with steamvr at the ideal. For the moment, i use vive console, not easy in the headset and sometimes it freeze for 3 or 5 minutes to changes the frequencies, not big issue but not very pratical
  16. MY MISTAKE!! 120hz is perfect with 2.0.24.1(BETA) with PNY 4090, i uninstalled the last beta of vive console ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ
  17. erratum: it's not a reprojection issue, it happens in real 120hz too. standard resolution is 2448x2448 for info. i will test beat saber later, i will tell you ๐Ÿ‘
  18. i think it is a reprojection issue, no? with MSFS2020, when i use the reprojection include in the game, it's a lot better. me too... ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ
  19. no tearing in 90hz. and same tearing with or without FPS VR in 120hz (tearing even in the steamvr MENU with the headset)
  20. last Nvidia Driver 531.29 , and steamVR beta 1.25.5 VP EXTREME (4896x2448,120Hz) it's not terrible, it's allmost playable i, but very strange, it happens even in the menu of the game, not every time in game, i had same issue with my 3080ti with last version of Vive Console, only the 2.0.22.6a was ok with the 3080ti. i never use 90hz but i will try, and i will try without fpsvr too... comeback in few minutes ^^
  21. I just bought a 4090 after the 2.0.32.2 announcement, and I have tearing with DCS, 120Hz, SS 100% 2448x2448(per eye) ๐Ÿ˜ช but it's not completely horrible, I guess it was worse before, but there's still work to do ๐Ÿคจ
