  1. Hi - thank you. Going to PM you to finally resolve. FYI I removed the text of my PM above, just in case those codes are not used (for some reason).
  2. Hi Mark, While I requested that you be refunded and the subscription canceled several weeks ago when we spoke via PM, upon investigation here it seems like that didn't happen. My apologies. I don't have direct access to that refund mechanism, but I've ensured it happened today. You should see refunds on the two charges within 10 business days. Regarding the six month subscription, I'm afraid I don't have any record, in PM or email, of sending you a code. Feel free to send me screenshots if you have them; it's possible an email or PM got deleted. If you were sent a six month code separate to your initial purchase code, then let me know; if it's not working, we can fix. If you're referring to the Vive Pro sign-up offer, that was time limited. Initially one year of VP Sub was available when registering your original Vive alongside a Vive Pro; if you did not register the original Vive, the offering was six months. After the offer ended, it reverted to two months of Viveport Subscription. From the records we have, it seems when you redeemed - in June - the offer was two months. That said, if you can send me a screenshot of your proof of purchase on the Vive Pro, and if it was within the offer period, I'll ensure you get either another six months of VP Sub or a full year if required.
  3. If you’re an Oculus Rift user discovering Viveport for the first time, welcome! It’s easy to set up Viveport and start playing titles on your Rift – but if you need a quick start guide, follow the steps below. Step One: Set up your Oculus Rift Without your Rift ready to go, we can’t start playing titles from Viveport, so make sure to: Have your Oculus Rift HMD connected to your PC, with any other setup completed Create your account at Oculus.com, and install the Oculus Rift desktop software In the Oculus Rift software, under Settings – General, turn on the option for Unknown Sources (click ‘Allow’ when prompted) Step Two: Get Viveport You’ll need to download the Viveport desktop app to access your Viveport library, download titles and play them. You can download the Viveport desktop app at vive.com/setup. If you already have a Vive or Vive Pro, you may already have Viveport installed (in which case, skip on down to Step Three). After downloading Viveport, locate the file and launch it. During installation, you will need to: Sign in with your HTC | VIVE Account (or create a new one). Install SteamVR. This will happen automatically, but you may be asked to sign in to Steam during the installation. After installation, you’ll be able to launch Viveport from the desktop shortcut. Step Three: Browse for Oculus Rift compatible titles You can browse Viveport either from within the desktop app or via Viveport.com. Here’s what to look out for: Titles that are Oculus Rift compatible will have the icon displayed throughout the site You can also filter for Oculus Rift compatible titles After purchasing a title, it will be added to your Viveport Library, accessible from your desktop app or from Viveport.com while logged in To play your purchased titles, download and install them via the Viveport desktop app Launch your Viveport titles from within the Viveport Library Step Four: Get a Viveport Subscription for the best value in VR! As well as buying individual titles from Viveport, you can sign up for Viveport Subscription for FREE, letting you experience five titles per month for one low price. You can cancel any time, and to really save money, you’re able to pre-pay for your Viveport Subscription with our 3, 6 and 12 month plans. Want a few suggestions for some fantastic Oculus Rift compatible titles available to you in Viveport Subscription? Check out our blog on just that.
  4. Hi , not too sure of the confusion here. Your original post at the top of the thread was made in January. It was only edited by yourself, and then in a minor fashion. See attached screenshot. It looks like assisted you at that time, and catching up here, looks like your situation is fixed now. Let us know if there's anything else we can do. As a matter of policy we may remove a post if it's a direct duplicate of another. (That can happen sometimes by accident.) We do edit posts if they contain self-identifying personal information, like email addresses, phone numbers, addresses and so on. In one case in this thread you mentioned a phone number, which I edited out. We do not edit posts for clarity or to obscure information. If we did make any edits to a post - for example the private info example - we'll note that in the edit. Not sure what might have happened here - maybe a caching issue or something - but to reassure you, we were not editing your posts. Let us know if you have further questions.
  5. Fallout 4 VR was a limited time offer that ended earlier in the year. A two-month Viveport Subscription is the current offer. Did you purchase the Vive recently? Was it from a retail store? If they are advertising Fallout 4 VR then that's incorrect; we'd appreciate knowing the store's location if that's the case.
  6. , as I understand it the EU Customer Care team have been in direct contact with you. You can also connect with here if you want further follow-up on your case. Please do not add 'blank' posts to a thread in an attempt to 'bump' it, as you did twice in this thread. I'll be removing those posts in a moment. Thanks in advance.
  7. wrote: Why do you have to PM me just to tell me to contact you at [removed] ? Why not make this email public to everyone so that other people's issues can also be addressed equally? There's a ton of people out there who deserve some support as well.. Because having the address public would make it susceptible to web crawlers, which would lead to bots and spam, which would slow down and inhibit our ability to maintain contact with customers. Anyone is free to PM representatives like for assistance, and we're very open about that.
  8. Hi there, Please send me a PM with the email address associated with your account and I'll escalate this. Thanks. stephen
  9. Unfortunately, that's not possible at this point - it's a setting that would need to be changed/updated in SteamVR. It looks like you have already made some changes but just in case, here's our page on how to alter the settings: https://www.vive.com/us/support/vive/category_howto/changing-the-chaperone-settings.html
  10. As part of Viveport’s commitment to connect content creators to global audiences, we’re excited to announce that Viveport now supports Oculus Rift compatible titles. Developers can opt-in their titles to display as Oculus Rift compatible from today, with the full consumer launch on September 4th. Adding support for Oculus Rift doubles the potential audience for all Viveport published titles, and opens Viveport Subscription – the best value in VR – to Oculus Rift consumers. Viveport Subscription allows subscribers to experience up to five titles at a time, starting with a free 14-day trial, and continuing after that with one low monthly price. With almost 500 titles in the Viveport Subscription library, we’re proud to curate a diverse and engaging range of experiences that appeal to a wide audience. Recent additions and all-time bestsellers in Viveport Subscription include Seeking Dawn, Tilt Brush, Pixel Ripped 1989, Shooty Fruity, A-Tech Cybernetic VR, theBlu and Knockout League. We’re always happy to welcome new developers, with marketing support and promotion for selected titles. As well as offering a huge range of available games and apps, Viveport Subscription has also proved popular with VR consumers who are looking to ‘try before they buy’. A Viveport Subscription member choosing five of the six titles shown below for either a 14-day free trial or a month of paid subscription could save almost $140 on retail prices! “By adding support for Oculus Rift, we’re doubling the potential user base for Viveport developers,” said Rikard Steiber, President of Viveport. “Viveport continues to offer the most opportunities for developers to monetize their VR content. From Viveport and Viveport Subscription, to availability on Amazon and in Viveport Arcade, we’re going to continue to expand and reach the largest global audience possible on developers’ behalf.” Developers can start opting in on Viveport to support Oculus Rift today. In many cases, existing builds that have hardware support for Oculus Rift via OpenVR are ready for this update. In the Developer Console, Oculus Rift is now available under ‘Compatible headsets’ in the ‘Viveport Listing’ tab. To opt-in a title, simply check the Oculus Rift box and create a production release under the Submit tab. Are you a developer who has questions about Oculus Rift support? Contact our Developer Relations team here.
  11. Hello there. I'm the forum admin, and I locked the thread, as we took the issue to email. The thread is still available and can be read. You were emailed on August 9th by our care team; please check your Spam folder in case it was diverted there. After diagnosis and testing of the products you previously returned to us, we have not found any hardware issues. Our EU support team is still very willing to support you and rectify any fault found that would normally be covered by warranty, even though your product warranty has now expired. If you would like to take up this offer, contact me via PM, and I’ll have Support contact you again.
  12. Hi - the offer to get your Vive Pro redemption code 'extended' was time limited. It also required entry of your serial number for an existing Vive. If you redeemed it recently, that's what's happened. If you were told otherwise by a retailer, apologies on their behalf. Getting charged after you've redeemed a code clearly shouldn't happen. (To be clear, we do require payment details on sign up for a Viveport Subscription, but you should not be charged (i.e. see money removed!) until the end of your trial period, or the end of your pre-paid subscription period.) If you can send me a PM with the email address associated with your account, I can get that investigated further, and if required we'll issue a refund for you.
  13. Hi Fann ( ) - unfortunately at this time you'll need to create a separate account to separate developers on Viveport. It's something we want to improve in future.
  14. Hi , The content included in the in-box redemption offer can and has changed over time. Whenever you redeem the code, you are granted the current offer. As of now, July 2018, that's a two-month Viveport Subscription. Hope that helps.
  15. Hi - codes were sent on the 10th, but we can double check for you. Can you first check your spam folders and ensure the code email isn't there? (If you find it, please let me know here.) If you still don't find it, send me a PM (link in my sig) with the email address associated with your account, and we'll double check - and if necessary send you new codes. Thanks. - I already got your PM and we're checking for you.
  16. Hi , we ask for a method of payment so that when your free trial expires, you will be able to continue playing without interruption. It's a standard method for many subscription based services. If you're having an issue using your redemption code other than this, please feel free to let us know and we'll be glad to help you out.
  17. Yes, the Fallout 4 VR deal ceased earlier this year, roughly three months ago. If you've seen somewhere advertising Fallout 4 VR, apologies in advance - some retailers can be slow to update their material.
  18. Two months of Viveport Subscription is the correct, current offer.
  19. Viveport uses a variety of services to serve files. Been advised to suggest you add these sites into your firewall exceptions and see if that helps: https://assets-global.viveport.com http://blob-cn.htcvive.com https://vr-prod-reloaded-manifests.viveport.com http://vr-prod-reloaded-manifests.viveport.com If that doesn't help, we'll need to talk about getting logs from you for a full diagnosis. Let me know, thanks!
  20. I'll find out for you and report back, .
  21. Hi ; send me a PM with the email address associated with your account. Thanks.
  22. That GPU is closer to our minimum, but you should be okay in theory. You might want to try our own PC test; you can download it from this page.
