  1. Hi there! As I was asking on this thread: I have a bricked VR Controller (blinking orange led), that even if I try to let SteamVR to update the firmware it fails in the process every time. However, I do have a valid firmware.bin that I extracted from my other VR controller that is working correctly, so: Can anyone explain me what is the command line to upgrade the firmware manually? (I have access to the Ligthouse console to run the commandlets) Thanks
  2. Hello? Can you please tell me what is the command line to upgrade the firmware manually?
  3. Please can you explain me what is the command line to upgrade the firmware manually? I think it is using that lighthouse console right? How do I replace the bad firmware.bin in the bad controller using the one from the working one?
  4. First of all thanks for the attention. I tried the update but somehow it is always starting and get's stuck forever, and I have no way to close or cancel So I just disconnect the "Bad controller" and I can retry doing all over again but I get the same results. Note the image is showing 2 of 3 but now it is always saying 1 of 1 Tracking device update. For the record I got the same process and managed to get a copy of the firmware.bin of the working controller. Also I tried the update process and it goes smooth without issues and it happens in 2 seconds. So now that I have a firmware.bin that I know it works, what can I do to finish the update properly? I decided to check with the lighthouse console and clearly there is a corruption in the firmware.. may I use this tool instead of the normal SteamVR process that clearly fails everytime?
  5. Help !! My Vive Pro controller suddenly started having issues that were not turning on. I tried connecting it via usb and it turns the orange lights and I can hear the connection sound with the pc but immediatly I can hear the DISCONNECTING sound, then it reconnects, and disconnects and so on. Tried different cables and usb 3.0, all the same results. I tried to to do the firmware update and it failed and now I'm not sure if it is bricked or if this is the same issue as before. I tried connecting it again and it turns the orange light, so I tried with the reset option and right now It is NOT disconnecting and it opened an explorer window called "CRP DISABLED" and I can see it has a firmware.bin file. SO WHAT SHOULD I DO???? Is there any firmware.bin original file to get from HTC somewhere that might help here? My other controller works, I was reading of other users that managed to get the firmware.bin from the working controller but I'm afraid of ruining the other that is working. HELP??? not sure what could be the next step.... Can someone provide a valid Firmware.bin file for the Vive Pro Controller so I can replace the faulty one??? THANKS!
