  1. Hi, unlike Steam, cloud save function seems to be completely unavailable on Viveport. So when I play a game on my first computer, I'm unable to continue on my second computer. For example Twilight Path. Cloud Save is a must to keep progress synchronized. Thanks.
  2. Hi, I use my headset on 2 different computers which are placed in different rooms. It seems the room-setup is saved inside the headset because I got to redo room-setup everytime I change rooms. I would advice to save the room-setup software side on the computer and let it push to the headset. The great advantage: for each computer/room you can have a saved room-setup.
  3. It's displayed directly in the vive console if there's an update available... just below the headset for headset firmware or below the controllers for controller firmware. And as you can see also software updates are displayed there. You can also go to settings menu and activate beta updates.
  4. Hi, on fast headmovement I sometimes get the IPD popup displayed because the IPD changes by maybe 0,2 mm. If you're on a game like Beat Saber that means an immediately destroyed game as the popup stays for some seconds. Please add an option to deactivate the popup in lense menu or better said maybe let us add a deadzone and/or deadtime. Then I would be able to let the menu only popup when I move the slider by 0,5 or even more than 1mm or only if I constantly move the slider for more than a second for example. Thanks.
  5. @stvnxu Of course I'll be waiting. I haven't got any plans to give away this Headset 🙂 I'll be doing some testing under the decribed light conditions the next days and then send in the data. In addition I can do pictures of the room. On lower light there are improvements already. Also have been able to top all my v1.0.5 scores on Beat Saber with the 1.0.7 Beta.
  6. I can exactly confirm that here in my living room. The exposure changes extremely on slight head movement. And I got serious tracking issues because on one site in the room it's brighter and on the other a bit darker. I did a room setup on daylight and in the evening the headset didn't realize this room anymore because of missing daylight and now with artificial light. I had to do the room setup again and then the room got registered and I came back into vr displaying. That's another thing I don't like: I got a second computer in the cellar. When I take my headset there I got to do the room setup. When I move back to my living room, I got to do the room setup again. When I got back into cellar I gotta do it again. It would be nice if the room-setup of different rooms could be automatically changed. I think that would be not too hard: different computer means different software installation. So the room setup data could be saved on the pc and offered to be send to headset when it seesa different room setup on the headset. Or simply save more than one room setup on the headset.
  7. Hi Steve, BUT: at least we can expect a slightly better tracking than the Rift S (because of an additional camera) and not an immense fallback. I guess every customer will agree with that and honestly HTC should see it the same.
  8. Same here. Especially witch some difference in lightning, like a window it's still a no-go. I also got a lot of jumps, especially when going on ears height with maybe 15-20 cm distance to the headset. At this way I'm now running into missing some notes all the time on Beat Saber. @C.T. @stvnxu
  9. I don't got the brightest room over here but I managed to finish Beat Saber levels on Expert. As I understood it's the best to got a room with very even lighting and also no clean white walls to avoid tracking issues.
  10. You can try to use the OpenVR Advanced Settings where you can turn the viewing direction. https://github.com/matzman666/OpenVR-AdvancedSettings/releases https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dNVtgTlqsw
