  1. If you have the OG Vive, then you can test the short 3-in-one cable by replacing with the long one to see if that works. If you have the Vive Pro though won't work since the long cable doesn't work with wireless adapter.
  2. Does anyone else have any problems with a Wireless Vive Pro and cameras enabled? I either get a critical error that crashes steamvr or I get communication failed when testing the cameras.
  3. I think the main issue is the battery can overheat if a device tries to pull more power than the battery is rated for.
  4. I think you need to have the Vive Console running, but as someone else pointed out you can just not use Vive Origin as your home if you don't like it. You shouldn't write off Viveport, it has a lot of games that are well worth playing that you can play for free with Infinity Subscription.... like Creed, Arizona Sunshine, etc. Also has games I wanted to try but didn't really want to shell out money to try like Five Nights at Freddy's, Doctor Who, Curious Tale of Stolen Pets, etc. Viveport doesn't have much in the way of multiplayer FPS games; its missing onward, pavlov, etc. That would be my one complaint of Viveport Infinity. I ultimately returned the Cosmos because of tracking.... but use Viveport with my two Vive Pro headsets.
  5. Yes, I bought one. Amazon has easy returns for 30 days so will see how I like it.
  6. All the Vive headsets require 12V so that's met with the qualcomm quick charge 3.0 requirement. Anker quick charge 3.0 batteries tend to be very reliable and are easy to find. The Anker Powercore Speed qc 3.0 power banks even support up to 24Watts (12v at 2amps) so should work with Vive Cosmos as well as OG Vive and Vive Pro. The Anker Powercore QC 3.0 (without the Speed in the name) support up to 18Watts (12v at 1.5Amps) which seems to be more common for quick charge 3.0 batteries. The Anker 10000 batteries are about the same size as the HTC ones. The 20000 ones are longer. My recommendations: This one will fit nicely in the belt clip: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01JIYWUBA/ref=dp_cr_wdg_tit_nw_mr This one will fit but stick out of the top: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01N0X3NL5/ref=dp_cr_wdg_tit_nw_ls
  7. USA Amazon Warehouse has some customer returns for $527.12USD with a promotion for an extra 20% off. Brought my total to $421.70USD with free prime shipping.
  8. I wonder if it works with the Vive Pro. I know some arcade owners that wanted to mount the linkboxes for the Vive Pro up high were not happy about having to push a button on the linkbox.
  9. 1) How do the visuals compare to the Vive Pro? 2) Do you think the Cosmos inside out tracking will every match the Oculus Rift S / Quest tracking? Would love to have freedom to take the Cosmos with me with a laptop and use wireless at home with desktop... but if tracking does not get as good as Rift S or Quest not sure its worth it (note I have a chance to purchase a Cosmos for around $425 for very limited time). Just trying to see if it will be worth it. I already have a wireless adapter and Vive Pro with V1.0 lighthouses and wands.
  10. So what did you do to solve the gray screen issue?
