  1. Hi developers,

The Vive SRWorks SDK has a new release v0.9.3.0 today. You can download it from here.

    Release Notes:

    1. Support Pass-through, Depth, 2D segmentation of AI.vision etc. running on AMD Graphics card but exclude 3D reconstruction related function
    2. Add EULA, so need wearing HMD to make selection before SRWorks_Runtime start
    3. Remove Calibration from rotary panel of Unity Experience demo but add a Settings for configurable pass-through FOV selection
    4. Overall performance improvement in Unity Experience demo by providing several configurable modes, ex: rendering plane size, postpone segmentation after 3D reconstruction stopped
    5. Fix several no pass-through rendering cases
    6. Fix several runtime or application crash cases
    7. UE4.24 compatibility
    8. Unity 2019.3.10f1 compatibility

We look forward to hearing your feedback!

P.S. You can follow the HTC VIVE Developer Twitter for the latest news and updates.

Thanks for your patience!

@Docnocternal - Thanks for the kind words and feedback ❤️ We are aware of this issue and working towards a solution.

  3. Hi @Sjunin

I haven't tested the content myself but if your cosmos controllers aren't working and the developers have not chosen to add Cosmos bindings to their game, then the other alternative is to add your own custom bindings within SteamVR.

This feature is neat because it'll allow you to play any VR games in the event the controller is not yet supported.

  4. Hi developers,

If you're currently developing an application using our SRWorks SDK, then we'd like your participation in our new monthly survey! We want to listen to YOU because we believe feedback is most important in building the right product for you to succeed. Your participation is a way to directly communicate with us about your experience using our SDK including challenges, frustrations, ease of use, feature request, etc. Our process is to aggregate the responses and prioritize the most common request items in the next software updates.

The link to this survey is provided here: SRWorks SDK Feedback Survey

The survey will close on May 15, and the next one will be scheduled for on June 1.

We appreciate you and your feedback!

  8. My older brother lives in Los Angeles, and there's a stay at home order until May 15th. It's been over a month and he's texting me saying he's bored out of his mind since he can't go out and has to WFH. He LOVES racing (hits the willow tracks every weekend) and is coping rn with Project Cars 2 via PS4. He's got the steering wheel and pedal accessory.

Got me thinking I could let him borrow my VIVE Pro or Cosmos to try a VR racing sim...  I've heard mix reviews about Project Cars in VR like how it gets you motion sickness... I'm wondering what other racing simulations are there I can recommend my brother? He's never really tried VR so I really want to blow him away with the highest quality VR racing sim that's currently available lol.

    • 06 Honda S2K (which I crashed, but not totaled during a canyon run... sigh)
