  1. I came here to start a new topic on this but I'll jump on this one instead...

What are the differences between the two?

So for the Vive XR Elite, to use MR with passthrough, must I use VBS because that has the toggle for MR using passthrough in Settings?

Why doesn't the Vive Streaming Hub have that?

With VBS it appears that I can do everything so why was the streaming hub brought out?

    Thanks.

  2. Seriously, I think I saw something on LinkedIn - an hour or so later and I was using this in our flagship application on the XR Elite.  Didn't need to do anything to our software (phew)!!

This morning, after a little faffing around updating the streaming app for Focus 3 I had it working on there too.

Our customers will be very happy with this - good work HTC Vive staff!  👍

I suggest you make sure everybody knows about this.

  3. Hi All, just wondering if others have seen this problem...

We have a proprietary browser-based app we have built that uses WebXR and as soon as you enter when using the Focus 3, you are rotating continuously.  It looks like this is because Gamepad.axes[2] rests at 1 instead of 0.

Also, the joysticks appear to be bugged or overflow with functionality with touch controls causing the user to both move and spin. It's as if the joysticks are both outputting to each other (the values from joystick 1 output values from joystick 1 and joystick 2).

Every Focus 3 we have tried is the same (and a customer who is using them has the issue).

Other headsets we are using do not have this issue.

Also, in standalone the controller profile is Vive Focus Plus but when plugged into a PC we get Vive Cosmos – why is this?

Would be grateful if others could confirm this or maybe Vive could look into it.

    Many thanks.
