  1. I have since not had much chance to test other things, my hopes are that i will be able to very soon. All i will be testing though is is a PCI-E x1 riser cable into the slot covered by my graphics card in hopes that will work and that the riser will fit underneath. Other than that i am out of options my end.
  2. Ive been using my new wireless adaptor all weekend, i am in two minds as to being happy or not, on one hand i am free to move around my room with no cable and on the other, my head is very sore from the heat. This thing seems to generate a lot of heat, even though the adaptor is not very heavy, it still adds some pressure to my head and after about an hour of play i can not only feel it, but it gets painful to play until it cools down. Is this a thing others are experiencing?
  3. So, after spending a few hours troubleshooting this issue i fixed it for me. I cannot confirm it will work for everyone but this seems to have worked for me. I took a closer look at some of the diagrams for the installation instructions of the WiGig card and noticed my mistake sofar. The PCI-E x16 ports i use for my graphics cards are also useable for this WiGig card, so after putting all my GFX cards back where they were when i started, i tried using the the next available x16 slot. This has now been tested with no issues for over an hour, the wireless adapter is working perfectly for me. https://1drv.ms/u/s!AtyHQoBTrqjsoJlTSPc3eSRIewPi5Q I will next be testing the PCI-E x1 port with it once the riser cable is delivered to try that option, but for now, everything works. Hope this helps someone.
  4. I to just installed my new wireless adapter to receive nothing but problems with choppy and poor graphics quality. I am running a GTX1080ti in my primary PCI-E 16 slot, i tried plugging the WiGig card into my secondary PCI-E 1 slot as my main PCI-E 1 slot is covered by the graphics card (as i expect most peoples are these days who do not have a water cooled GFX card) but the wireless software would not even confirm it was plugged in. So, i moved my graphics card down so i had access to my primary PCI-E 1 slot, now the wireless software confirms all is good, i checked my Vive, everything was working, but, the image quality was terrible & choppy. I have since tried myltiple variations with my system, but i have got to ask a really stupid question, How is this WiGig card getting its graphical data from my graphics card since its not plugged directly into the graphics card itself? Is the PCI-E 1 channel connected via the motherboard to the graphics card, do i have to use my graphics in slot 1 and the WiGig card into slot 1 to get these to work correctly or am i missing something.... My faith in wireless VR is running thin, did i just waste £300 on a dream.
