  2. My CPU i7-7820X has 28 PCIe lines. I tried to connect the wireless card to the processor lines and to the chipset lines. No difference or difference is noticeable.

  5. I think for wireless VR the number of PCI lines supported by the CPU matters. K series offers only 16 lines that will be occupied by the GPU.

  9. Try starting with setting both supersampling values to 100%. And see the CPU load together in fpsVR and windows task manager (they show different values). Gradually increase the global resolution setting in steps of 10%. The algorithm for automatic set of supersampling by 200%, depending on the video card model, is unknown to us. Start with 100% and increase until the frame rendering time is less than 9 ms.

Overall, with my new hardware configuration, the wireless adapter works satisfactorily. No CPU overload.   14. Wireless Card works well in PCIEX4 slot. The image in the helmet is the same as with a wired connection. Problem only with Fallout4VR. And the problems are not permanent, then they are, they are not. While I understand what's the matter. I will try to rearrange the card later, thanks.
  15. The processor loads I indicated are not entirely correct. Something happened in the operating system ... Here is the normal CPU usage started by Fallout4 and without running the game (only SteamVR Home)
  16. Yes indeed, I noticed, at first I did not notice. Today during the day I noticed the inconsistent work of Fallout 4VR. Now I turned off the computer, turned it on in five minutes, launched Fallout 4 and everything is fine, 90 FPS, there are no reprojected frames even at SS 200%. I turn off the Fallout, turn it on again and now 45 FPS and frames fell down ... Skyrim and other games work steadily at 90 FPS. Tomorrow I will understand, but this is a software problem. Later I will record a video from the helmet of Skyrim, anyway, my battery has sat down :) Most importantly, with the new hardware configuration, I lost image pixelation. Image quality is the same as with wired connection. There are some differences, tomorrow I will describe them in more detail and try to take a video.
  17. My CPU load step by step: 1. Simply Windows CPU 1-2% 2. Run VIVE Wireless and connect HTC helmet CPU 4% 3. After run SteamVR CPU 68% (simply stay in Steam VR Home) 4. Close VIVE Wireless App and disconnect helmet CPU 33% (running SteamVR without VR compositor)

This is PCIe slots on my Motherboard BIOS Settings Speed of PCIEX4 slot in BIOS set to 3.0, but WiDig card options in Windows is displayed as 2.0 Most likely the Wireless card requires only 2.0 port speed. All Settings on SteamVR set to Default, SS Auto 200%, Image Smoothing On... Tried to record two videos of the helmet with a wireless adapter. Just put GoPro inside the helmet. Oh, my fpsVR interface language is set to Russian, I do not think this is a problem :)

  20. I think, Vive wireless adapter need CPU lane. I insert wireless WiDig card in PCIEX4 slot, that use free CPU Lane. This is just a version, however it works

None settings SteamVR not changed. Supersampling set to 200%. Skyrim and Fallout4 work perfectly at maximum settings! Pay attention to the characteristics of your system, as Max # of PCI Express Lanes. My new processor has 28 lines. I think the problem is this. If the processor and chipset support only 16 lines, then all of them are occupied by the video card, and there are no lines left on the wireless adapter. This is only a guess.
