  1. If you are not ready to replace the motherboard and processor, return the wireless adapter and continue to use the wires. I have achieved good wireless performance on my configuration: CPU i7-7820X ASUS ROG STRIX X299-XE GAMING Samsung SSD M2 970 Pro 512Gb RAM 32Gb Quad Channel MSI 1080Ti HTC Vive Windows10 64bit This material may be useful.
  2. My CPU i7-7820X has 28 PCIe lines. I tried to connect the wireless card to the processor lines and to the chipset lines. No difference or difference is noticeable.
  3. Thanks for the hint about using embedded graphics when broadcasting games! I did not know. About the number of CPU PCI lines in Intel processors. Here are a few processors with 44 lines. Max # of PCI Express Lanes Now we see that there are two types of PC configurations to VIVE Wireless VR. 1. Weak PC. Pixelation. It is impossible to play. 2. Medium PC. No pixelation. It is possible to play. Not all games have 90 fps. Is there a configuration in which the Vive Wireless Adapter will work fine and show 90 FPS in all games?
  4. Two video with Subnautica on my configuration, SS 100% (Sorry for Video Quality, recorded in a hurry) FPS is not always 90, but I can play. No Pixelization. Here is the new computer configuration: CPU i7-7820X ASUS ROG STRIX X299-XE GAMING RAM 32Gb Quad Channel MSI 1080Ti HTC Vive Windows10 64bit
  5. I think for wireless VR the number of PCI lines supported by the CPU matters. K series offers only 16 lines that will be occupied by the GPU.
  6. Guys, I do not understand why everyone use a CPU with a K index for a gaming computer? Why do you need graphics integrated into the CPU? in a few hours (need to pick up the Steam controller from the child :) ) I will test my configuration with the Subnautica. Fallout4VR and SkyrimVR I have already tested, see above.
  7. I think the guys from VIVE were very modest in describing the minimum requirements for a wireless adapter :) A computer for VR should have sufficiently high characteristics. Couldn't they say, “hey guys, we released a cool product, but you still have to improve your processors” :)
  8. But how does the system behave when connecting the helmet with a wire? What processor load and what processes on the reference super-sampling value are 100%? you need to understand the difference in the load on the processor between the wired and wireless connection
  9. Try starting with setting both supersampling values to 100%. And see the CPU load together in fpsVR and windows task manager (they show different values). Gradually increase the global resolution setting in steps of 10%. The algorithm for automatic set of supersampling by 200%, depending on the video card model, is unknown to us. Start with 100% and increase until the frame rendering time is less than 9 ms.
  10. No Telegram, only Apple iMessage (Apple ID saint666ipad@gmail.com)
  11. Glad I could help :) So the CPU i5 7600K is also suitable for a wireless adapter!
  12. On your advice I insert Wigig card to PCIEX16/X8_2 and PCIEX8/X1_3. Nothing changes. Better not, worse not, absolutely the same works. Left in the bottom slot PCIEX8/X1_3, since it has the desired mode of operation x1.
  13. I again got to the computer and continue to test Wireless adapter. The following four videos show my CPU load with Wireless adapter, SteamVR and two Games using various settings SuperSampling. (~90FPS) (~45FPS) (~90FPS) (~90FPS) Image in Helmet is Fine when SS set to 200%. No pixelization. No jumps, everything is smooth. Overall, with my new hardware configuration, the wireless adapter works satisfactorily. No CPU overload. Nearby (~ 1 meter) with the antenna of the Wireless Adapter installed Apple WiFi router 2.4/5GHz. The router does not interfere with the operation of the adapter. Here is the new computer configuration: CPU i7-7820X ASUS ROG STRIX X299-XE GAMING RAM 32Gb Quad Channel MSI 1080Ti HTC Vive Windows10 64bit If you have questions - happy to be responsible as possible. I wish the adapter didn't cause you any problems. I do not work in VIVE and it is not advertising :)
  14. Wireless Card works well in PCIEX4 slot. The image in the helmet is the same as with a wired connection. Problem only with Fallout4VR. And the problems are not permanent, then they are, they are not. While I understand what's the matter. I will try to rearrange the card later, thanks.
