  1. Awesome. Good thing you caught it! Thank you, -John C
  2. Definitely, I would recommend blackout curtains, because you need something that's going to pretty much block as much as possible. The older TV could definitely be the issue, also, if it's controlled via IR remote and it's on during play, that could also be IR interference. Thank you, -John C
  3. Please send me a PM when you get a chance and I'll see what I can find out for you. Thank you, -John C
  4. That definitely seems like a long time. I'm going to send you a PM to follow up with you. Also, I have to move this post. This isn't a technical support question. Thank you, -John C
  5. This post has been moved. Follow the link to the new location. Thanks!
  6. Would you say that the performance changed or didn't change at all after your made those adjustments? Thank you, -John C
  7. Just to check, make sure you're downloading the Windows 10 version of the driver rather than a different version. What's the link you're looking at for the download? Thank you, -John C
  8. See that part: " 22577 back-facing hits during the previous tracking session" That's a reflection. Sheets might not be enough, you'll need thick opaque curtains that block IR light. A thin sheet will allow IR light through in some cases. Is there anything in your play area that might be reflecting? Metal pole? Large window? Sports trophies? Thank you, -John C
  9. Are you running the latest version of NVIDIA drivers? What troubleshooting steps, if any, have you taken so far? If you could, please create a System Report from SteamVR and PM me with the link to the resulting file. (You can used pastebin or upload it to a filehosting site. Whatever works for you.) Thank you, -John C
  10. Looking at the spec sheet for that laptop, it looks like it only has a single HDMI port. What are you plugging the TV in to? USB through adapter? Thank you, -John C
  11. We've seen it before a few times. It probably isn't indictative of any problems. If you want, you can send it in for repair and get it fixed. Thank you, -John C
  12. I sent you a PM regarding this. Thank you, -John C
  13. Thanks for posting. Could you tell me about your system specs? When did this issue start? Does it happen all the time or just some times? During particular games or all the time? Thank you, -John C
  14. I'm sending you a PM. Thank you, -John C
  15. Does it only happen when you up the settings page? Make sure you installed the software as an Admin and that your network security isn't blocking the vive executables. Usually that's the cause for the software to behave this way. Check those things and then let me know if it's still happening or not. Thank you, -John C
  16. How long have you had it? If you look at the port on the top of the HMD, does it look normal? Thank you, -John C
  17. It could just be the SteamVR restart that's causing the audio issue (for whatever reason) and because that's what you're trying to fix your controller, it's coming up as a result. If we can get your controller fixed and it goes away, good, if it doesn't, we can keep troubleshooting. Thank you, -John C
  18. Glad you figured it out. If you're curious, lorem ipsum is placeholder text, not sure why it would pop up because you had another USB controller connected, but it's good to know. Thanks! -John C
  19. Since you already created the system report, could you upload it so I can take a look? You can PM me the link to whereever you hosted it. Make sure you check all the cables first. Unplug and firmly push them back into the ports. Thank you, -John C
  20. Hi there. Thanks for letting us know about this. I think we might need more information regarding your setup and the problems though. When did this start happening? Is it during a specific game or application or does it happen even before you load a game? Is it the same controller or does it change? How long does it take before the behavior commences? What are your PC specs? Thank you, -John C
  21. That's odd. I've never encountered that problem before. It sounds like the port is loose. Are you using the original cables or aftermarket? Thank you, -John C
  22. I sent you a PM regarding the controller. | As far as the audio issue goes, if I'm understanding it correctly, your audio is fine until you restart SteamVR and then it just cuts out. What are you using as your audio output? Just the Vive Pro headset built in earphones? Speakers? Your own headphones? Thank you, -John C
  23. So the issue is the controller, right? Nothing we've suggested has helped? You're still seeing it freeze and then you're getting audio issues? The controller and the audio issues aren't related, but I'm happy to help you with both. If you'd like, I'll pay to ship your device here in the USA to test and determine what exactly the problem is. If you would like to do that, please PM me. Thank you, -John C
  24. Just to be clear, there is a message that says to "Take your headset off" during the room set up. You're not talking about that, are you? Thank you, -John C
  25. Could you please describe in greater detail what's going on with your wireless set up? What have you tried already? Did it work before? If so, when did it stop working? Is your internet security allowing the Wireless Adapter client to communicate with the outside for updates? Are you fully updated, Drivers, SteamVR, etc? Thank you, -John C
